My Health Journey

Health and Wellness Update 5/2/2020

The Wellness Programme is officially done but I am continuing my health journey. I figured so many people have been interested in what I am doing that I will continue to post what and how I am doing.

I have continued with the nutritional guidelines that were recommended for me at the start of the Wellness Programme Part Two. For those who have not been following along, here are the guidelines I have been following.

Nutritional Guidelines: Avoid gluten (all grains), corn, pork, seafood, dairy (specifically cow dairy), alcohol, sugar, soy, processed foods, and sunflower/rapeseed/canola oil.

This week specifically, I did eat ice cream (yes, I gave in). I definitely noticed that my body reacted when I ate it. I’m not sure if it had to do with the dairy or the insane amount of sugar that comes with ice cream but I saw some rashes on my arms start to appear again. However, on the same night I had ice cream, I also took a maintenance dose of Oxy-Powder. This seemed to help flush it out of my system and the rashes have been going down since then.

My Morning Cocktail has changed as well. However, due to delayed shipping, I have not actually received the products I will be using so I have been continuing with Part Two’s cocktail until I receive them. Here is the recipe:

  • 16 oz water
  • 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar
  • Juice from 1/2 a lemon
  • 1 squirt Bupleurum Root
  • 1 squirt Detoxadine
  • 1 squirt Zeotrex

I will also be including essential oils during this next parasite cleanse. Using veggie capsules, I take turmeric, oregano, and clove oils internally. For those of you who know me, I have been using DoTERRA essential oils for about 3 years now and have been incorporating them into my every day life. I am excited to incorporate into this aspect of my life as well.

This past week, here is what my typical day looked like…

Waking Up:

  • 16 oz water with 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar, juice from 1/2 a lemon, 1 Tbsp aloe vera juice, and a pinch of pink himalayan salt

Brunch:

  • Eggs with veggies (e.g., bell peppers, tomato, mushrooms, spinach)
  • Fruit with almond butter

Snack:

  • Almonds
  • Fruit
  • Pumpkin seeds
  • NOTE: Due to working from home and getting a later start in the day, I have been snacking on these items more throughout the day and not really eating an actual lunch

Dinner:

  • AIP or Whole30 meal
  • If my parents made dinner that night, I would just avoid what I could not eat
  • I have been taking 5 capsules of Oxy-Powder every 2-3 nights as a maintenance dose

Night-Cap:

  • Pau d’Arco and Cat’s Claw tea combined in 8 oz water
  • Raw garlic in olive oil

How Am I Feeling?

Overall I am still feeling great! My energy levels have stayed up which has meant that I can start working out again.

As I mentioned above, I ate some dairy/sugar (ice cream) this week and I saw some reactions to that. I had some rashes show up on my arms again but they have not been too bad. Instead of the weeping skin that I used to get, this has looked more like bumpy, dry skin around my forearms and elbow area. Not bad enough to need steroid cream though! The ice cream did not seem to affect my legs at all.

My quality have sleep varied throughout the week depending on the day. The night I ate ice cream, I did not get quality sleep but overall, it hasn’t been too bad.

What’s in Store?

I took a two week break between the liver cleanse and starting the parasite cleanse which means, starting tomorrow, the deeper parasite cleanse starts!

What does this look like? I will start taking a supplement called Paratrex. It is made with a unqique formula that creates a hostile environment for invading organisms in your body. I will take this for 40 days. Yes, you read that right. This will be a 40 day deeper parasite cleanse. I will continue to post how my body is handling the cleanse every Saturday.

Summary of Current Health:

  • Moderate skin inflammation/itchiness on my arms (my own fault)
  • Energy has stayed consistent
