Health and Wellness Update 5/30/2020

I’ll be honest and say I completely forgot to write last week BUT I was also did not have much to report on. So this will kind of be an update on the last two weeks.

Over Memorial Day weekend, I did not follow my protocol very well. I’m starting to see a trend of starting the week off strong and ending by caving. I AM going to make changes because my body is feeling the consequences of this bad habit.

In fact, starting Monday, my family and I will be doing Whole30 together! This will make it a lot easier for me to stick to the nutritional guidelines that I have. While my guidelines do not fit perfectly into Whole30, I can adjust it to fit my needs.

Here is what my typical day (should have) looked like these past two weeks…

Waking Up:

  • 16 oz warm water with 1 Tbsp apple cider vinegar, juice from 1/2 a lemon, 1 squirt Bepleurum Root, and 1 squirt Zeotrex
  • Veggie cap with 3 drops turmeric, 3 drops oregano, 3 drops clove, and 3 drops Detoxadine
  • 3 capsules Paratrex
  • 1 capsule probiotic
To put things into perspective, here is everything I use in the morning!

Brunch:

  • Banana pancakes (made with banana, eggs, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla – I’ve also been playing around with adding my own almond pulp)
  • Eggs with veggies (e.g., bell peppers, tomato, avocado)

Dinner:

  • 3 capsules Paratrex (20 minutes before eating)
  • AIP or Whole30 meal

Night-Cap:

  • Lemon Balm tea
  • Raw garlic in olive oil
  • 5 capsules Oxy-Powder every 2-3 nights as a maintenance dose

NOTE: I have also been playing around with the idea of intermittent fasting. I have done this a few days over the last week following the 18:6 protocol (fast for 18 hours, eat during a 6 hour window).

How Am I Feeling?

After Memorial Day weekend, my body was not doing too well. I had rashes starting to show up again and I constantly felt dehydrated despite drinking over 120 oz of water every day. After 3 days of eating according to the nutritional guidelines my skin cleared up again!

My sleep has been off and on over the last few weeks. Once I do fall asleep, I have been able to sleep through the night though so that is a plus!

What’s in Store?

Like I stated above, my family is doing Whole30! This will make following my nutritional guidelines a lot easier. I will also continue to take the same supplements.

Summary of Current Health:

  • Clear skin (had rashes for 5 days but they have cleared)
  • Energy has varied
  • Hard time falling asleep but am able to stay asleep
  • Hormonal acne around my mouth/chin
